Mens Ties

Mens ties started to become more and more popular in the early 1900's specifically during the industrial revolution when men needed a piece of neckwear that was comfortable and easy to put on and take off. As more and more men started to need ties, more companies started to make different types of ties for people who needed them for different uses, as well as creating new and off the wall designs for the people on the cutting edge of fashion.

As ties became more popular with the upper class, different groups would use ties as a way to show membership in different groups. For example. private schools often times require students to wear a uniform that has a tie, all the students ties may differ depending on their grade level.
